DOWN IN THE REEDS

The 3rd annual Down in the Reeds Music Festival returns to The Parks at Walter Reed on Saturday, October 8th from 11AM to 7PM.

This daylong free fall music festival celebrates the power of music to heal across culture and community, featuring two stages of live music performances, workshops, and panels, along with

interactive musical activations, family art, games, curated art vendors and makers, delicious

local food trucks and local breweries and beverage companies.

Headliners are Red Baraat, The Medicine Singers with Yonatan Gat.

WOWD’S Jon Fiah Ali (The Night Out) emcees the Arts Plaza Stage.

NIGHT OUT Wednesday, September 28: Jon Fiah Ali's (8-10 PM) features salsa and reggaeton.

SOUND OF SOUL Sunday October 4: D'Nicole explores Hispanic artists and the Spanish language in R&B (8-10 PM)
