d.c. space was a downtown performance venue and art gallery from the 1970s to the 90s.
The Atlantis is hosting a d.c. space reunion party on Sunday, November 30th -
with rock, punk, jazz, spoken word, film, and visual art - to commemorate that vibrant time in D.C.'s cultural history.
There will be live performances featuring WOWD DJs Lady Myrrh, John Previti, and Bob Boilen, along with his band Fanoplane.
Also, Luke Stewart, Birthday Girl, Ruthie and the Wranglers, and so much more.
In keeping with d.c. space tradition, the event will be a benefit: this time, in part, for your own WOWD / Takoma Radio!
WOWD is non-commercial community radio. No advertising!
Underwriting WOWD is a great way to offer financial support in exchange for on-air recognition of your business/organization. It is a cost-effective alternative to advertising, and it precisely targets your customers: listeners who are well-informed, involved members of the District community.
One month of underwriting is $150 (announcements during 5 shows per week between 8am-10pm)
Non-profits receive a 10% discount
Additional discounts are given for 3-month (or more) contracts
